Adriana Ramsey
Bilingual Financial Empowerment Counselor
Adriana was born in Colombia, South America and came to the US at the age of 23. She has 12 years of experience preparing and reviewing tax returns in addition to two years of managing VITA sites as a site coordinator. She earned her certification as a financial counselor from Cities for Financial Empowerment Fund in 2018. She is thankful for the opportunity as a FEC counselor to educate, provide resources, and help the vulnerable ones who need assistance the most. She enjoys going hiking, watching lighthearted romance movies, and cooking for friends and family.
Joy Hemphill
Financial Empowerment Counselor
A medically retired U.S. Navy veteran, Joy has spent over 15 years assisting and advocating for veterans in various capacities. Before becoming a Financial Empowerment Counselor, she worked for the S.C. Department of Employment and Workforce as a Veterans Workforce consultant. Joy is a board member for the Greenville Economic Development Board, and currently serves as Regional Director (SE Division) for Psi Zeta Phi Military Sorority. A service officer for Disabled American Veterans, she holds dual master’s degrees in Human Services Counseling and Criminal Justice from Liberty University, along with B.S. degrees in Healthcare Management from St. Leo University and in Psychology from the University of Sedona.
Bradley Robinson
Financial Empowerment Counselor
Bradley is an accomplished community advocate, educator, manager, and case manager/counselor with extensive experience in non-profits and business education. Having worked in the education and nonprofit fields for several years, he has had the opportunity to impart valuable knowledge and skills to countless members of the Greenville community and beyond. His career includes, but is not limited to working at institutions like the Urban League of the Upstate, SHARE, Greenville Technical College and Virginia College in Greenville. His personal philosophy is centered around the idea that every person is a student who can succeed with hard work and determination.
Sheryl Hanshaw
Program Manager
Prior to joining the Greenville FEC team, Sheryl worked as a teacher for 10 years. She loves the opportunity to mentor, empower and encourage the people of Greenville County on their financial journeys. She enjoys helping clients look at their spending habits in order to create a spending plan that works for their lifestyle. As many of her clients can attest, having a financial plan is the first step toward achieving your financial goals and attaining financial freedom! In her free time, Sheryl enjoys hiking and cooking.
